It must be seen as big game in the district first division this weekend with four teams interested in the result. kirk a and wrentham must be hoping for spexhall to win and then lose their last fixture against  ? therefore giving them both the chance of runner up spot. wyfcno11 or anyone else it may concern,if you fail to get the right result and you finish 3rd/4th will this still be seen as a good season or failure? wyfcno11 why dont you start some threads as you do come on here a bit? dont be shy mate,any latest news from your club? |

NOT BITING MOTHY,I WILL LEAVE THAT TO OTHERS BUT I DIDNT PLAY FOR HEARTS LAST YEAR. YES THAT IS A POOR TURNOUT BUT AT LEAST THE SKIP WAS THERE.

Boyd4 - I think 2nd would be a great achievement for us this year we lost one of our best players in close season (Paul Hunter) and never really had the luxury over the last 4 seasons of an 20 goal a season man - we have a couple of hard working strikers who give their all. Plus we lost our 1st 2 games of the season - how we lost at Spexhall i don't know!
I think anyone whos played in this division a while will recognise that the bulk of our squad is the same group of lad year in year out with the odd addition of a few younger lads and last year we would have drew a lot of the games this year we dug in a squeezed a win out of.

YES AGREED PAUL HUNTER IS GOOD PLAYER AND WORKS HIS SOCKS OFF ALL GAME,WRENTHAMS GAIN!
I THINK YOU HAVE HAD A GREAT SEASON AT WAVENEY EVEN IF YOU DONT GET SECOND PLACE BECAUSE AS YOU SAY LOSING THE FIRST TWO GAMES WOULD DEFLATE ANY TEAM.I CANT UNDERSTAND HOW WE GOT SO MANY GOALS AGAINST YOUR TEAM ONLY,MAYBE WE KNOW WERE ALWAYS IN FOR A GAME AND TRY THAT MUCH HARDER BUT STILL HARD TO PUT A FINGER ON IT.
KEEP ON POSTING AND GET SOME MORE OF YOUR LADS TO JOIN ALSO,GOOD LUCK ON SATURDAY MATE.

Cheers - i didn't play the league games and don't really understand what went on, thought we did alright against you in 1st half of cup match fell apart after that though -
Not sure how many of our lot are computer literate ? - Suppose our main issue is attracting players of decent standard i travel from Norwich each week as its a way of keeping in contact with friends as i grew up in lowy

i dont think you miss paul hunter , your position proves that..... he has energy but not that much quality ... you have done really well to finish above wrentham, norton etc so this must be classed as a good year?what happened against spexhall? we played them a few weeks ago i said hen i think they will nick second , they are a strong team which can be hard to beat....... in this league 90 mins against players like fisher, vinny and adam taylor we will create a lot of chances mr eagle... luckily on them days we took the chances <waveney>

WYFCNO11. you were probably better side in the first half of our cup match but i think you gave up or got tired late in the game and thats when the goals poured in,but i still say we are lucky we are in the final as we should have lost to our reserves. Its a shame you didnt get a positive result against spexhall but it will be a double blow if you end up losing it on goal difference. With all your youth teams you should have loads of quality lads coming into mens football like pakefield/kirkley. Do you have to pay subs as well as your petrol from norwich? MICKI. just heard a rumour that bobby beach is stripping you of captaincy and replacing you with paul hunter,get working on your fitness mate because my god that boy can run  |

i think eagle son that bobby would not replace me with him ,as i have expierience and quality to run hearts show.... he is more like geoff, and then i wouldnt swap geoff either so its looking like your stuck with the fat commander once more ,,,,,,haha

you williams boys do seem to suffer with a lack of confidence dont you! dont forget you did upset him by naming his lineup at nort res even before he arrived........and fat commander will do for the charltons/laurel n hardy/chuckles etc (what next???)

Yep £3 subs plus our lot normally chuck and extra £2 per match for beer kitty at end of season - problem is getting younger players who are able to handle mens footy !
Game against Spexhall was bas for us we dominated the 1st 30 mins, missed a penalty then conseeded to soft goals to go in 2-1 down at half time - started 2nd half strong again - equalised, but after this the performance dropped and they scored 2 latish goals that flattered them a draw probably would have been fairer ! nevermind always next year
