So then, how many of you would take up referring once you have finished playing?
What incentives would make you take up the whistle or what puts you off?
What can be done to attract more ref's into the game?

I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE SOMETHING BACK FOR ALL THE FUN IVE HAD OVER THE PAST 2.5 DECADES!!!!......BUT I JUST DON'T FANCY BEING THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE BECAUSE I WOULD END UP SENDING TOO MANY OFF IF I RECIEVED VERBAL FROM THEM.I THINK A GOOD REF WILL TALK AND LISTEN TO PLAYERS BUT THEY SHOULDN'T TOLERATE BEING SWORN AT(LAST SUNDAY DOWN THE PARK I HEARD A LAD SAY TO A REF AFTER BLOWING FOR A FREE-KICK.."YEAH GO ON THEN GET ANOTHER F..KIN CARD OUT THEN",AND THE REF DID NOTHING!!!!!) ANOTHER LAD,SAME GAME....TOOK A PLAYER FROM BEHIND,WAS LAST MAN EXCEPT FOR GOALKEEPER..REF GAVE A PEN ONLY AND THE OFFENDER HAD THE CHEEK TO STAND THERE MOANING AND ARGUEING THAT THE OFFENCE WAS OUTSIDE THE BOX....HE WOULD HAVE GOT AT LEAST A YELLOW,THEN MAYBE ANOTHER FOR DISSENT SO ITS A GOOD JOB IM NOT A REF EH?.....OH THE REF DID END UP SENDING SOMEONE OFF AFTER ANOTHER PLAYER FROM SAME TEAM STARTED FIGHTING BUT I MISSED THAT!
