MY OPINION AND SORRY IF IT OFFENDS OR UPSETS ANYONE BUT I ONLY SAY IT AS I SEE IT! FEEL FREE TO SLATE ME OUR SEASON IS GOING QUITE WELL BUT NOT AS GOOD AS IT COULD HAVE BEEN IF WE HAD TAKEN THE OPPORTUNITIES(CHANCES ON GOAL) THAT HAVE COME OUR WAY.WE COULD HAVE BEEN PLAYING IN THE JUNIOR CUP TODAY BUT WE BLEW A POSITIVE START AGAINST MENDELSHAM AND GOT PUNISHED WHEN WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN WELL AHEAD.WE ALSO LET OURSELVES DOWN AGAINST KIRKLEY A AND JUST DIDN'T TURN UP AS A UNIT THAT DAY AND USED THE EXCUSE THAT THE SIDE WE PUT OUT WASN'T STRONG ENOUGH....I DON'T AGREE..IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN AS WE WEREN'T PLAYING A STRONG KIRKLEY A SIDE THAT DAY,THEREFORE WE ARE PLAYING CATCH UP.HAVING SAID ALL THAT THOUGH,I AM MORE THAN SATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS WE HAVE GOT IN THE LAST THREE WEEKS WITH A LOT OF PLAYERS MISSING FOR VARIOUS REASONS.I STILL BELIEVE WE CAN PLAY BETTER THAN WE HAVE SO FAR EVEN THOUGH THE STATS DO LOOK PRETTY IMPRESSIVE. I WOULD LIKE TO THINK WE WILL STRONGLY BE COMPETING FOR SILVERWARE AGAIN AS WE DO HAVE A LARGE SQUAD OF QUALITY PLAYERS BUT WE MUSTN'T GET CARRIED AWAY WITH SELF-PRAISE OR THINK THAT CERTAIN GAMES WILL BE A WALK-OVER. THE NEW BOYS HAVE ALL FITTED IN WELL AND I WILL BE THE FIRST TO ADMIT THAT I WASN'T SURE IF THEY WERE GOING TO BE GOOD ENOUGH TO BREAK INTO THE SIDE BUT LUKE ALWAYS WORKS HIS SOCKS OFF,HE'S VERY UNSELFISH AND HAS SCORED MORE GOALS THAN I EXPECTED.ASH (NEW LAD?) HAS ALSO BEEN SOLID AT LEFT BACK AND DOESN'T PANIC WHEN IN POSSESION,BUT THE BEST OF THE NEW LADS HAS BEEN BIG BARRY TEASDALE....I DIDN'T THINK HE WAS GOING TO BE ABLE TO GET IT AND GIVE IT QUICK ENOUGH AS HE LOOKS MORE LIKE A CENTRE HALF BUT HE HAS BEEN AWESOME SO FAR AND HAS ONLY HAD ONE POOR GAME(KIRKLEY A).HE HAS BEEN OUR BEST PLAYER ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS ALREADY AND WITH PLAYERS OF THE ATTACKING FLAIR OF VINNY AND FISHER IN OUR SIDE,THAT IS A CREDIT TO HIM. NEGATIVES: AT TIMES WE DO SEEM TO THINK WE ARE BETTER THAN WE REALLY ARE! THERE'S NO POINT IN BRAGGING UNTIL WE HAVE OUR HANDS ON THE TROPHIES. ALSO OUR RATIO OF CHANCES CREATED TO GOALS SCORED MUST BE SOMETHING LIKE 4/1 AND AGAINST THE BETTER SIDES THIS COULD COST US DEAR.PROVE ME WRONG LADS PLEASE!!!!! TOPSCORER SHOULD BE JOHNNY OR LUKE AS THEY START MOST OF THE GAMES UPFRONT SO I GO FOR JOHNNY AS HE WONT PASS AS MUCH AS LUKE WILL .THEY SHOULD GET 50 BETWEEN THEM ASWELL. WAVENEY WAS OUR HARDEST GAME SO FAR AS THEIR FORWARDS WERE A PAIN ALL GAME EVEN THOUGH THEY FAILED TO SCORE(BIG RITCHIE SAVED US A FEW TIMES). THE OXFORD MATCH WAS ALSO TOUGH AS IT WAS PLAYED AT A GREAT PACE FOR THE FULL 90. RELEGATED:TOWN A AND PROBABLY CORTON RES AS THEY ARE A VERY YOUNG SIDE AND DONT SEEM TO HAVE TOO MANY 'LEADERS' IN THE SIDE WE PLAYED TODAY. GOOD THREAD MICKI,I HOPE I HAVEN'T BEN TOO HONEST IN MY ANSWERS!

Eagle, agree 100% with your comments on Corton Res. They are definatley not a 1st division side. Neither though are Carlton Rangers but as Town A have dropped out one of them will remain in the division next year. Think these two will finish bottom of the pile by a long way.
At the other end it looks like the top 3 have a little gap now however there is still a long way to go. I was personally dissappointed with Spexhall today but that said we played our best football of the season so far. 3-0 after 17 minutes and cruising before young Wayne Cousins gave a rash penalty away and then soon after we were caught square. The second half different story scored two more, one ruled out. Hit post, one off line and their keeper made 4 superb saves.
I fully expect the top 3 to win next weekend and then an interesting encounter as you go to Wrentham. May have to come and watch that as we have no game....

i guessed you lads must have played well from the scoreline, but it sounds a bit one sided in the second half. if you come to wrentham it might be best to phone someone first incase the ref call it off before we start!!!!!

i do agree with most of what you said, i thinka problem in our team is lack of encouragement when people do something wrong......tim from spexhall thinks us and norton is going to be a cracker!!!! the misses definatley cost us against mendlesham,i think luke energy has been brilliant for us but now bobby has fisher, vinny, taylor, jonny, luke and jermaine things will turn round on goals front... personally i cant see many teams fancying playing that lot.....as for our team, barry is playing well , gary and ash have both been good too , AS a team though as well as miss chances we are letting the odd soft goal in which we never really do!!!!! we have a complete squad available next week with jermaine back so looking well placed to me, we are playing wrentham with no keeper at moment?

as hearts found spexhall a tough nut to crack, and norton finding the same opponents an easy run out, that makes norton favourites in the big game between the sides at xmas.

ohhh the excitement, yep norton are big faves for the christmas cracker... i reckon micki to score first< to the annoyance of ric >norton to win 4 1 haha, i fancy a single goal win to the champions but best thing is whoever wins should put that team top for new year

Sounds to me like there is a lot dissention in the ranks at hearts, which is not the impression I get from the Hearts boys I know and chat to regularly. From what I can gather they have an incredible team spirit, which has dragged them back from some very sticky positions, i.e 2-1 down to Norton with 5 mins to go and winning 3-2 and also led them to victory at Portman Road, surely this past togetherness can only be irreperably damaged by the captain of the side being critical over his team mates on their biggest rivals website, as a captain I would expect him to be helping the under performing players to raise their game, don't seem to be able to find on here where Norton's captain has belittled his players to the rest of the league, coz he wouldn't!!!!!

WATERBOY: WHO ARE YA? WHY HIDE YOUR IDENTITY? CAN YOU POINT OUT TO ME WHERE I'VE BEEN CAUSING 'IRREPERABLE DAMAGE' TO MY TEAM MATES AND ALSO I NEVER SAID ANYONE WAS UNDERPERFORMING, ONLY YOU'VE SAID THAT.THERE ARE A LOT OF STRONG CHARACTERS IN THE HEARTS SQUAD WITH DIFFERENT OPINIONS AND IM SURE IF I'VE UPSET ANYONE THEY WILL BE MAN ENOUGH TO HAVE IT OUT WITH ME,SO NO PROBLEMS AS FAR AS I CAN SEE.IF YOU RE-READ MY ABOVE THREAD(WITH WHICH I GUESS YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT) YOU WILL SEE I HAVE PRAISED UP FAR MORE THAN I HAVE CRITISIZED.AND ONE MORE THING,WHO SAID NORTON WERE HEARTS BIGGEST RIVALS...OH YES YOU DID WATERBOY!

I would criticise Micki the most for being so selfish in front of goal. Think he should sit in front of the back 4 and let the others do the scoring! Think this year is gonna be tight. I think all the Norton and Hearts boys are looking forward to the 29th. Always a great game and no doubt it will be a cracker! What its all about. Seems like a few teams have improved this year with others having unpredictable results. Our ressies are on another road trip this weekend to Narbourough in the cup so good luck to them. Heard your ressies are changing there name next season so they can get promoted?

waterboy whoever you are, i dont know if you know anything about our captain but i'll let you know anyway, he has been around quite a bit on the local scene he has played at probably the highest level of football anyone can locally, his previous clubs being kirkley 1st team, lowestoft 1st team, gorleston 1st team and yarmouth 1st team where he was also captain, so with that kind of experience any input he has, we as players look and listen as he leads by example.in my opinion we wouldn't swap him for anyone, so reveal who you are and what you've done in football and maybe we will listen to you then again maybe we won't. away you go and crawl under some stone waterboy. ;D

Well waterboy looks like you are in the minority as most agree with eagle, thing is for those of us who know him we fully understand how honest and commited he is. As has been pointed out he speaks from experiance and as someone who has played with him and against him i cannot remember anyone having a bad word to say about him.
