ITS NOT NICE TO LOSE ANY GAME OF FOOTBALL BUT I THINK WE TRIED HARD TO GET A RESULT RIGHT TO THE END EVEN THOUGH AFTER ABOUT HALF AN HOUR WE WERE CHASING THE GAME(3-1 DOWN).HAVING SAID THAT,I DO BELIEVE THAT MENDLESHAM WERE BEATABLE DUE TO THE LARGER NUMBER OF GOOD CHANCES WE CREATED AND WE QUITE EASILY COULD HAVE BEEN 3-0 UP OURSELVES INSIDE 20 MINUTES.THEY WERE SHARP ON THE ATTACK AND THEIR FORWARDS PUNISHED US WHEN GIVEN THE CHANCE.LUKE, BARRY AND TAYLOR WERE OUR BEST PLAYERS ON THE DAY BUT UNFORTUNATELY WE JUST WEREN'T GOOD ENOUGH. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OUR LOCAL SIDES LEFT IN THE COMPETITION.

Sorry to see you go out of the competition. We would have loved for you to have gone through to give you more league distractions, pick up more injuries and suspensions but never mind. Were they a good side or did you just play badly?

in my opinion we had a bad day in defence for a change, which doesn't happen to often. we could and should have been 3 up in first 15mins but instead after 25mins were 2-0 down, both goals were down to sloppy defending. there strikers didn't give the ball away when they received it, and took there chances very well, they were the difference between the teams. on the day the best team won,i would be surprised if they got through to the final, hopefully one of our local sides can go all the way good luck to them all, it is a great experience, one you dont forget.

i agree with braveheart we did make some sloppy errors, but i still think we had twice as many chances and really should still of beaten them, thier strikers were very clinical they took goals very well but it was not going to be our day! when the defence makes a mistake normally we score loads up other end, this season well recently its not really happening< at moment> .... we need to take this on chin and step up a gear to retain our league ... we know we can go on a unbeaten run so lets do it!!!!!!!!!!!! everyone knows hearts will be up there , im sure norton would love us to lose another league game before the crunch at xmas, but i think if we get to xmas 3 points behind leaders we will take some stopping........ gutted about saturday though

That Ipswich side did look well up for it on Saturday before the game. They were all out on the pitch early and looked like it was gonna be tough for you. Saw a couple of missed chances before we kicked off. One especially looked like a certainty. Kirkley this week so should be a good test for us. CDS are a young side that played well against us. Should be interesting. Micki, did you score any of the goals? (dont be silly) I am now on 3 so has the gap widened?

Game on! Are you still taking penalties after you missed in the cup final?
