i believe this season could go all the way, possibly to the last weekend, there are lots of teams capable of beating each other around the middle to top end of the table, i don't think anyone will go unbeaten from now to the end of the season, and we will all drop more points as weeks go by.goal difference might even come in to play, so well done kirkley for breaking nortons winning run, and putting themselves right up the top end of the table, its going to be close, GAME ON!

AT THE MOMENT,FROM LOOKING AT THE LEAGUE TABLE,IT LOOKS LIKE TOP THREE ARE GOING TO BE FIGHTING IT OUT AS THEY ARE SCORING FAR MORE GOALS THAN THE OTHER CHASING TEAMS.BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN IT'S GOING TO CONTINUE ALL SEASON AND IT'S STILL VERY EARLY DAYS. WE HAVE ANOTHER CRACKER THIS WEEK OVER AT SPEXHALL AND IF THEY WERE TO DEFEAT US THEN THEY WOULD BE RIGHT UP THERE ALSO.WAVENEY ARE ALSO A CAPABLE SIDE WHO COULD CLAW THEIR WAY UP THE TABLE IF THEY PUT A RUN OF WINS TOGETHER.KIRLEY A HAVE HAD A BRILLIANT START TO THE SEASON BUT THEY ARE A VERY YOUNG TEAM AND WHEN THE PITCHES CUT UP A BIT AND THEY GET INVOLVED IN A FEW BATTLES,I DO THINK THEY MIGHT FIND IT A BIT TOUGHER.WHO KNOWS? THIS TIME LAST YEAR WE(HEARTS) WERE PROBABLY ABOUT 6PTS CLEAR ALREADY BUT ITS FAR MORE EXCITING THIS SEASON AND A GOOD CHALLENGE.

Eagle,
I agree with you 100% and although Kirkley were a good outfit on Saturday, I cant help but feel that they will drop points somewhere along the line. Its still way to early to start talking of where the title will end up and yes at the minute it does look a 3 horse race there is some big games coming up and the league really wont start shaping up until the new year.

i thought pre season it could be between 3 teams who have enough quality to win it, hearts and norton have the experience while kirkley have a young fit team who are hard to beat i cant see others mounting a challenge to stay unbeaten to break in the top 3 and staying there! as for kirkley i agree they will hopefully slip up when the rubbish weather comes but as gary says i also think both norton and hearts will too, in my eyes it will come down to who win most out of the games between eachother...... neck on line here ......end of season prediction..... hearts, norton then kirkley in that order within 6 points of eachother .............

i heard that they had to play a couple of kirkleys veterans today so they must have been struggling for players!
