LADS LETS BE PERFECTLY HONEST WITH OURSELVES HERE. WE DIDN'T ANYWHERE NEAR MEET THE HIGH STANDARDS WE SET AGAINST CAXTON IN THE PREVIOUS WEEKS EXCELLENT WIN.MAYBE WE GOT A BIT CARRIED AWAY WITH PATTING OURSELVES ON THE BACK AND DIDNT SHOW KIRKLEY A'S YOUNG LADS THE SAME RESPECT...HEARTS HAVE MADE THIS MISTAKE IN THE PAST AGAINST TEAMS THAT WE MAYBE EXPECT TO ROLL OVER EASILY.KIRKLEY DID THE JOB THEY NEEDED TO DO AND THAT WAS GET INFRONT AND THEN WORK THEIR SOCKS OFF TO RETAIN THEIR LEAD BUT THAT WASN'T THEIR STRONGEST LINE-UP SO EVEN THOUGH WE WENT OUT WITH A CHANGED TEAM THAT CANNOT BE USED AS AN EXCUSE.WE SIMPLY LET OURSELVES AND OUR MANAGER DOWN...AND YES I TAKE MY FAIR SHARE OF THE BLAME TOO.BUT HAVING SAID ALL THAT,I WOULD LIKE TO REMIND YOU ALL THAT WE DON'T BECOME A BAD SIDE OVERNIGHT AND WE ARE STILL IN THE JUNIOR CUP,LEAGUE CUP AND HAVE ONLY LOST ONE LEAGUE MATCH SO IT CERTAINLY ISN'T THE END OF THE WORLD(LETS HOPE WE BOUNCE STRAIGHT BACK AND ARE STILL INVOLVED IN ALL COMPTETIONS IN 2 WEEKS TIME!) FEEL THE PAIN OF DEFEAT,REMEMBER WHAT IT FEELS LIKE AND 'LETS RESPECT ALL TEAMS AND LOSE TO NO-ONE'(ELSE THIS SEASON).

Well said Eagle. I must admit I was surprised at your result but not only that but how poor Wrentham were. Not sure if they were missing players but Shippo played and so did Ray Baker and for the first 25 minutes game was evenly poised.
To be honest in the end we should have scored at least a dozen but sad comments that they may fold was being said by some of their players but that maybe just an easy thing to say in defeat. To my knoweldge they have so many players signed this would be a huge shame for a club that recently celebrated it centenary.

stuart holland plays for our raw team on a thursday, he has been saying it for a couple of weeks as he cant get the commitment of his better players! saturday for our point of view was a bad result but like you say , we still have norton twice, kirkley again and hell of a long way to go, i dont think anyone will win every game ... we proved that last season when we beat everyone and drew at home to <at that point> a lowley broadlands<who are alot stronger this season>at christmas when teams have played more games the league will take shape and hopefully if we are still around 3 points of top , hearts will have a massive chance to retain there league

MOTHY: I SPOKE WITH SHIPPO ON MONDAY NIGHT AND HE SAID THAT THE FOLDING OF THEIR SIDE WAS MENTIONED AFTER THE GAME BUT THEIR MANAGER STU HOLLAND SAID HE WOULD SEE IT OUT UNTIL THE SEASONS END. RIVO:THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENT ABOUT MANAGEMENT BUT I DON'T THINK ITS FOR ME ALTHOUGH I DO FANCY THE IDEA OF BEING SOMEONES ASSISTANT ONE DAY! SOME PEOPLE DID HAVE A MOAN N GROAN(BEFORE,DURING AND AFTER THE GAME) LAST SATURDAY ABOUT THE SIDE WE HAD OUT AS THE SIDE HAD LOTS OF 'DEFENSIVE' PLAYERS IN IT,BUT WE HAVE SEVERAL PLAYERS THAT ARE CAPABLE OF PLAYING IN DIFFERENT POSITIONS .THE MANAGER ALSO PUT THREE LADS ON THE BENCH THAT WENT OUT THE NIGHT BEFORE AS LAST TIME THEY DID THIS HE FELT THEY DIDN'T PLAY VERY WELL HE WAS WITHIN HIS RIGHT TO DO SO. LEE FISHER TOOK A WEEK OUT AND IN HINDSIGHT HE WAS OBVIOUSLY MISSED AS HE'S A QUALITY PLAYER BUT LIKE I SAID ABOVE WE HAVE A WHOLE SQUAD OF QUALITY PLAYERS AND YOU DON'T KEEP EVERYONE HAPPY BY PLAYING THE SAME SIDE WEEK IN WEEK OUT.IM SUB THIS WEEK COMING AND YES IM PI**ED OFF ABOUT IT BUT ITS MY TURN AND I HAVE TO EXCEPT IT.
